We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses arising from not accepting your order and we shall have no liability to you, by way of compensation, other than to refund the amount paid for the goods in question.

Hallmarking

Due to the 1973 The Hallmarking Act, this law applies to anything sold in the UK. Hallmarking an item will incur an additional fee to the order as if the item is over a certain weight, as there is a requirement by law to do so. This applies to:

  • Any Gold item weighing over 1gram.

  • Any Sterling silver item weighing over 7.78grams.

  • Any Platinum item weighing over 0.5grams.

Bespoke Orders

Upon confirming your bespoke order, a deposit will be required to be paid. All deposits are non-refundable. Payment will be due as agreed between the Seller and the Buyer upon consultation of the requirements.

All deposits for commissioned pieces will be 40% of the final agreed price, which will be required to be paid before production starts.

Once a design has been agreed and production has started changes or alterations may not be possible without incurring additional costs, some changes may be possible, within reason this will however need to be discussed and agreed with the seller.

We will endeavour to provide updates for your order throughout the various stages of production

Taxes and Duties

EU deliveries are now subject to additional duties and taxes which are payable by the customer.

U.S orders under the equivalent of $800 will not be subject to import taxes. As we trade in GBP, due to changes in exchange rates, it is wise to allow a buffer under the $800 mark if you would like to avoid any import duties to the US.

Non-EU deliveries may be subject to additional duties and taxes please contact us to discuss.

Any applicable Duties and Taxes on deliveries must be settled by the recipient. Please check with your local customs and duties office for more information on these charges.

By proceeding to purchase items from J.T.R.Jewellery, you agree to these Terms of Service.
